GiampieroSilvestri
Here is a picture of the F-104 G HA Höhenaufklärer. This is a Revell of Germany 1/48 scale F-104G converted using plastic sheet for the wing and plastic tubes for the engines and the bulge on the spine is a extended half of a fuel tank.Again this is not a what if.It is a project for a high altitude reconnaissance aircraft proposed to the Luftwaffe in the 1960s. SAT69
Very interesting and definitely a unique model, well assembled and painted I might add. I presume all three engines would have been J79s? Where did this proposal originate? Lockheed perhaps?
GiampieroSilvestri
Thank you very much! No,they were German projects. The engines in the wings would have been "Staustrahl" or rocket engines.
