Tiger smoke launchers

It is often over looked by modelers who build Tigers with smoke grenade launchers that they don't attach any wiring to them,I have done it myself in the past.

I always thought the main wire went through the turret side wall just behind the brackets but it runs along the top bracket and enters on top of the turret.

Thinner armour makes the job easier.  It's pretty common - I did it on my Puma a few years ago, for instance.

Thanks it's something I'll add to my half completed Tiger.

The problem with details like that though is that it's a rabbit hole you can disappear into. The more you look the more detail you see. Like recently I was drilling out a tiny drain hole on the protective armour around the fuel cap on a Sherman. I mean who would even notice. OK just me. 😂
