wellsprop
Hi all, I've had an overwhelming urge to build every FAA jet that was ever in operational service, here's the first! Trumpeter's 1/48 Supermarine Attacker F1. It's a decent kit but there are a few errors and the decals were rubbish (I replaced the serials with xtradecal). Painted with Hataka blue line acrylics and lightly weathered. The most significant change was the addition of a resin ejection seat and repositioning the horizontal tail planes 3mm higher. As for the aircraft, I can't say the Attacker is a particularly attractive plane and modelling it has not made me any fonder... My Sea Hawk build will follow soon! 28ZComeback
I like it! I wonder how the Attacker would have performed in the Korean War.
Lord Riot
Excellent! I built this kit too and did exactly the same with the tailplanes. Yours looks very nice indeed.
Antti_K
I like this! Beautiful work with the painting. Somehow I have a soft spot for Supermarine jets (and for the late Spitfires of course). Cheers, Antti
