JOCKNEY
Great stuff John I can't think why you are avoiding all that yellow and the chance to do all those stripes....... Then again, it will look lovely in blue ! Good luck Cheers Pat

John Masters
Ok...I really have to out some fire into my model building. I have become so distracted by other, less important, projects that days go by and I have done nothing! Here is the Simon with some primer. I will work on the interior this evening I have some screenshots of some excellent scratchbuilding somewhere so I use that as a guide. I will also take some time and spruce up the Otter... --John
John Masters
Some inside bits. I am not sure how much energy I will give to the scratch building aspect of this aircraft. This is what I built today... A full-scale, working model of a solar water heater... And some cockpit bits...much smaller. --John
JOCKNEY
Sorry John we can't include the Solar Thermal system in the Gallery as you didn't post any pictures of the parts before you assembled it, or the work in progress ! Cheers Pat 1

John Masters
Been a while. Lots happening down here in SE Europe. Most of it not good. You've all read the news. I finally got around to doing some modelling! I'll get more done tonight! --John
John Masters
This is coming together quickly. Good. I have other French items on the list. The line on top of the fuselage is visible. The seam is actually quite smooth. Underneath I have added the Venturi tube and the little elegant tailwheel. The undercarriage is a snap. Love those spats! Together... I am finding this an excellent little kit. Well moulded, little or no flash an the pieces fit with very few, if any, gaps. A testament to Heller. --John

Meanwhile, your Simoun is coming along nicely. Thanks fellows. I am ok on this little island, as long as it doesn't catch fire. We are far away although he smoke reaches us easily. We've had three fires here on Paros already this season. And the Simon comes along. I have used liquid mask for the glass. I really should use it more often. --John

John Masters
Thanks @Grandboof everyone...Holiday weekend here and the tourists get to go home soon. Phew! My hose renovations are done and now I can get back to more meaningful pursuits...😃 The blue paint is on. It is a mix of Prussian Blue and UK Mediterranean Medium Blue. I think it's alright. It's certainly blue! I'll peel off the masks later and decal it up tonight. Touch-ups, etc...gallery tomorrow maybe? Then onto that Dr.1 in French markings...or a Fouga. Not sure. Maybe both! --John

Care was taken...good warning... Decal time...actually it's finished now. I am just playing catch-up... They look good so far. I'll let them dry and add a glossy coat and call it finito, and into the gallery. Here's a finished look... Up next...Fokker DR.1 and a Super Mystére B.2... --John
