fishplanebeer
I'm probably preaching to the converted but very recently bought these masking sheets to try and create the splinter pattern for my Do217E as there are no commercial vinyl masks available. All I can say is I now wonder how I ever got by without them as they are quite superb and I would very highly recommend them to anyone who's not tried them yet and is struggling to mask off any form of camouflage pattern. The mask itself is quite thin and is tacky enough to hold onto the surface and prevent paint bleed but without any fear of lifting the paint underneath, plus it is easily removed from the backing paper so quite complex patterns can be drawn and cut out without tearing. I'm sure there are other brands out there as well but these are quite superb so I'll be using them going forward on all my projects.
