What ever happened to the Rooikat 105 prototype?

I know that only one prototype was completed because the manufacturer never got any orders for the 105, but does anyone know about the fate of that particular prototype?

 

Also, was the GT7 105mm gun on the prototype actually functional?

Did it get used as the e-drive prototype? 

 

SANDF were looking at e-drive about 15 years ago, at the same time that the UK was for (then) FRES, now Boxer MIV.  They had a MAN SX 8x8 truck fitted out with Magnet Motor hub drive motors and after successful trials the plan was to transplant the equipment to a Rooikat for further trials.  I don't recall if theye vere actually did it, but if they did then nothing came of it.  As it didn't in the UK and Sweden, who were looking at it jointly.  The US were also looking at e-drive with AHED.
