Greeting from the north eastern corner of Italy

Hello everybody, 

I am modeller, a Brailler indeed, mostly building AFV and the occasional aircraft, plus some 1:350 vessels.

I greatly prefer WW2 subjects, especially Allied, and I am quite conversant with Soviet tanks that I have been studying for several years.

In the last year or so, I have developed a keen interest for British subjects, at present I am modelling a Sherman Firefly Vc (Dragon) and a Cromwell (Revell) of the Guards Armoured Division.

I consider historical and technical research as an essential part of modelling, whilst on the other hand I tend to look with suspicion at the huge amount of modelling products that are flooding the market nowadays. Perhaps a reflex of the fact that I started many years ago with Britfix cement and some Humbrol tinlets.

I have always admired the British slant of this website as a refreshing change from the current professional modelmaking that is at now common on the web.
