Another one for the collection done.

Curtiss H-75 Hawks operated during May 1940 over the Southern parts of Holland, from various advanced airfields in Northern France and Belgium.

The first 100 aircraft were fitted with just two wing mounted machine guns, replicated here.

Fonderie Miniatures SE2415 Grognard 11 1/48 scale.

Well after a late start and some issues along the way I've made it before the deadline. This was a limited run injection kit with resin cockpit and undercarriage bays, white metal undercarriage legs and nose probes (4) and a vacform canopy. On opening my kit after 18 yars in the stash I discovered the canopy was missing. Fortunately @Norman in Australia heeded my call for help and provided a spare from his model.

Here are the finished pictrures of this unusual and destinctive prototype plane.

Many thanks to the Mods especially @Wez for the original idea and all those who contributed along the build. Extra thanks to @Norman for the canopy.

Fonderie kits do come out OK after a bit of effort.

Here is my Fonderie French Collection.

Anyone with a 1/48 Hi Tech Vautour or Durandal in their stash they don't want I'd be pleased to add them to this collection!

1/24 Citroën 2CV

Revell kit OOB, except for some wheels and tyres borrowed from my parts bin (originally from a Fujimi Nissan Silvia kit) and additional Green Stuff World graffiti decals.

Nicely detailed and well engineered kit, fun build.

Heresy latest...The KP Models Sopwith Triplane, in French markings.  Not the best build from me, by far, and not really the fault of the kit, which is fine, if you know it's not Eduard or anything else.  I moved house in the middle of the build and I think I lost some steam.  Anyway, rigged as much as I can, I'm calling it 'done' do I can move along to something else.  I still have three weeks in the GB...😃

Morane-Saulnier MS406C1, 5th Escadrille, GC III/6, Chartres, May, 1939.

(RS Models boxing, 1/72)

I have a fondness for subjects from the brink of the great horror that commenced in September 1939. There's something almost innocent about them....

This is brush-painted, with a blend of colors at the demarcations, followed by washes of the base color to either side of the line.

Raised detail added.

These are both techniques I wanted to practice.

After the decapitation of my voltigeur I'm glad to have got this in on time.

Here's the RFI thread, with some more pictures and a write-up.

Heller SNCASE Mistral 1/6 "Oranie" Rabat-Sale Morocco 1959.

Not a bad build, typically Heller of its day I guess, the fit wasn't awful, but aids to location were few & far between, nevertheless, I'm happy with the outcome, one of those builds where the whole was greater than the sum of the parts.

Build thread here.

I really like the look of the Mistral, that big short fat tail pipe gives it quite a different look to the Vampire to my eye.  I'm pleased to have this done, thinking I only had a few days in hand, then finding out I had over two weeks to go, where is the fun in having all that spare time. :D

The Morane N Bullet served alongside the Nieuport fighters against the German airforce during the battles at Verdun in 1916. As the French lacked an operational synchronizing gear the Nieuports sported overwing Lewis' and the Morane N had metal deflector plates on the props. The Morane was of similar vintage to the Fokker Eindekkers and was phased out as more Nieuports became available.
