109 fan
More "wave mirror" mastery, Giampiero. Just beautiful! I had missed your in-progress posts; they are excellent as well. Easily the best Storch in 1/72 that I have seen.

kapam
An astonishing paint job (not to mention the other superb details)! Truthfully, I don't think I could do it with either an airbrush or a paint brush. 😬 You have excelled without a doubt.

Bertie McBoatface
Thank you Giampiero, this is a very effective technique and I'd say the result is superior to airbrushing. It would give so much more control and less risk of messing the whole thing up with an involuntary movement. Brilliant! It must take many hours of work. I appreciate your work even more now.

steh2o
Giampiero, this is one of the most impressive models I've ever seen; the difficulty of painting and assembling such a flimsy structure is +++++ If I had to move a critic to the end result is that the slats seem too heavy compared with the real thing. Excellent result, and beautiful paintjob!!

That's an astounding habit you have Giampiero - manual dexterity of the highest order and a beautiful result.

Many thanks for the compliments; as for the slats, I thinned them, but more than that I could not do (I was afraid of weakening or distorting them).
