That's an absolute beauty Andy. It looks like you have weathered each and every panel individually. Great diorama and photo too.:like:

Thank you very much Pete! Yes indeed the weathering cost a lot of time , but at last it was a lot of fun and some more experience how far you can go, that it don’t look overdone.

Great build.

Your weathering is better than mine. It is still one of my favorite models in the cabinet.

I like your diorama simple, but an excellent match to the background.

Hi Greg,

thank you very much. Just looked at yours. I wouldn’t say the weathering is better than yours. It’s a little bit more, yes I agree, but not all planes have the same kind of weathering. Some looked more factoryfresh, some very worn. So no one is wrong. It’s a kind of taste and a point where these planes are stationed. A Heinkel, or what ever in the Russian mud surely looks different to a factoryfresh plane that only had few missions.

Cheers

Erstklassig Andy! No better live photography on this forum than yours. This wouldn't be possible if your models weren't first rate, too. I'm very much inspired.

Yes, you are right about wearing over time. I believe my plane was relatively new when it was lost on the northern raid. It was one of the first He111-H4's. It is possible it was converted from an H3. I also did it's escort an Bf 110D and the Hurricane that could have shot it down. I like to theme my builds. I did it during the Battle of Britain group build along with a 1/48 Ju88 A1. This is a rear model in 1/48. I did a conversion from an old Revell Ju88 A-4 kit.

However I think your weathering technique is very good.

Another breathtaking presentation from you Andy!   Oh my!  That is such amazing model and photography work dude.   You continue to inspire me with every thread you post!   That cockpit glazing is simply "out of this world".  :worthy:

Thank you very much Gary, that means much to me too. Your top notch photography on your Tigercat with this natural light inspires me very much.

So I have to try, I promise. My P-51 D „Jackie“ flown by Wild Bill Crump is finished 99,9 %.

Thx a lot
