Btw: There's a DH.91 Albatross waiting to be built.
So I might drop in - real life permitting.

Don’t worry I’ll add you to the list, but all you need to do to join a group build is to creat a WIP thread in the GB forum once it opens.

Add my name to the list please.

I have a pair of old FROG kits that fit the bill perfectly. An all black DH110 and a BEA Comet have been on the 'To do' list for ages now. Best I do something about that.

If I finish my current project in time I'd love to join this. I'm thinking  scratch built1/32 Airco DH2. Looks like I won't be making the deadline then...

Sorting out a pile of other stuff, I found the bones of the two, or possibly three builds I hope to get done during the GB.

A couple of FROG 1.96 scale Comet restorers should give me at least one complete build. They will need breaking down to component parts and starting again, but I enjoy that sort of thing.

BEA decals are sorted, assuming they work OK, and there's a set of BOAC ones as well, in case I get really lucky and manage a pair of the things. Both are to 1.100 scale but that shouldn't present much of a problem, if at all.

The decals are getting on a bit now. A clear coat or two is in their future.

The DH110 is an incomplete pile of parts. I'm hoping to have sorted out the missing bits before the off.

The whole lot is altogether in one box, awaiting the starting gun.

Have you tried microscale liquid decals, it really works well at restoring old fragile decals. That and leaving them in the sun to bleach back to white.

I've not tried that yet. Clearcoating with car paints has worked for me up to now. I'll order some up and give it a go though. Thanks for the tip.

Both sheets are white enough to not need the sunbathing treatment so I'm cautiously optomistic that things will be OK on the day.
