Muzz
A great feat by this crew of two ditching a cargo aircraft in the sea at night and living to tell the tale....... https://news.sky.com/story/boeing-737-cargo-plane-makes-emergency-landing-in-ocean-off-hawaii-12347337
TheyJammedKenny!
According to BBC, it was a 737-200C, built in 1975! What an excellent design to have lasted all this time. They were very lucky. We'll know more in the coming days, I'm sure, but I'm suspecting both engines failed due to fuel contamination.
Alan P
737-200 with engine trouble? Surprised it still had engines and not Flintstone feet power at that age. Must have a lot of hours on it.
Adam Poultney
Variant with the worst safety record of the 737s IIRC, very glad the crew survived the initial ditching but I hear one of the pilots is a bit touch and go as to whether he will live.

Kudos to the controller for maintaining absolute professionalism. I can only imagine her feelings.
