Paul J
I have just got to the primer stage of my 1/72nd AZ kit of the Chipmunk and am undecided as to which scheme to finish it in. I have the decals for a Silver/ yellow t band Army one , some LAG/Dayglo stripped RAF ones and Royal Navy. The las two courtesy the ModelArt decals. I don't fancy the camo Army one or any Red white ones. I am open to suggestions. I would like to do a civvy one but most schemes I've seen are not that easy to replicate. But AM looking forward to the Xtrdecal 1/48th sets that have been announced as one ha s a SUAs example WK630, in which I flew in so that is a cert for sure when the AIrfix one is issued... Have the wings been sorted does anyone know??
tweeky
How about one of the Berlin pair of Chipmunks ?
Rod Blievers
What, bland overall Light Aircraft Grey and festooned with extra (German language) stencils? There was actually a Red/White/Light Aircraft Grey Chipmunk there for the last two months as well... On a more serious note, have a look at the four Xtradecal sheetsa now on the Hannants website. Plenty of choices there. Edited June 30, 2021 by Rod Blievers extra comment

Rod Blievers
At least two more (German language) on the LHS canopy frame and a large amount of text adjacent to the fire extinguisher symbol, all of which are pretty obvious in photos.

Rod Blievers
Isn't that a gorgeous scheme? When I was restoring my Chipmunk I seriously thought about this one but decided that it wasn't really appropriate for the Australian climate.
