I had no choice but to upgrade.

Following a paint disaster with a recent build, I decided to shell out on new airbrush’s.

Ive been using this Badger for the past two years, since I got back into the hobby.

All of a sudden, I started to notice a lot of spatter, and experienced issues with paint flow, tip drying, splatter, etc.

Looking for spare parts to replace the needle and cone, I decided to go all out, instead, so brought these.

I plan on testing them out on a new build, as I simmer over the Spit VIII that I shelved for a while.

The main issue was user error, to start with, but I’m hoping new tools will help me improve a little.

Now I just need a pressure regulator.

I found this Fortress compressor, for $100 at the local pawn shop.
Probably way overkill, but cheaper than buying an airbrush compressor at Hobby Lobby.
I was hoping it would fit under my desk, but is 3 inches too high.

Nope...

175% quieter than a regular compressor ;)

I checked first :D

With a tank that size it will probably last a painting session without the pump even firing up.

Cheers,
