Venezuelan F-86K 1/48 Must Have

Hi this is my first post related to Model Build,

 

I was looking some pictures about a non common marking for an F-86K, I wanted to build the Venezuelan schema (I'm from Venezuela, so it was an easy choice for me), the only problem was that the references for that specific version is very difficult to find, more when you realize that this plane was a transition model and quickly replaced by the F version (some FAV sources point that around 70 F-86K were purchased, but only 25-30 were properly used).

 

I selected the MustHave kit, since I followed another work here in Britmodeller (By Rob K), and I was surprised by the good comments.

This is the plane I'll be using as reference, the only difference is that I found some FAV related friends that guided me about some marking differences between the displayed planes and the real operative ones.
