Pagey
Hi all, started this a few months ago after getting the resin engine/gunbay kit from Jinxman on here. I wanted to try and make the aircraft look lightly weathered with light chipping. Build log can be found here Camo painted using Mr Hobby paints (tamiya for the underside blue blue) First time using Mig Ammo gun metal weathering powder. That stuff is awesome, Paint the guns black and brush the powder on and it really transforms the guns finish. All major marking painted using Montex masking kit as I prefer the look of painted markings rather than decals. Hal LH
Hello Richard, Looking good, love all things D9. If you don't mind, could you clarify for me the make and origin of the detail set you used , this one seems to have escaped my attention in the past! Thanks in advance. Happy modelling Neither Fonderie Miniature or Fine Molds. This set was done in Hungary by FM and was done for the Hasegawa kit. FM is now SBS but this set as the ones for the Bf109 G and Macchi 202 are not produced anymore.
