Beautifully done.

As a Swiss guy,I give you an extra point for building it in Swissair colors.

Looks sharp.

I built the Revell kit in Swissair colors a few years ago.

Very nice kit too and I am glad Atlantis Models re-releases it this year.

2 years ago,I was in Lucerne in the technic museum.

There is a Swissair Coronado on display. Its also possible to go inside and walk through.

always nice to visit her.

As for the cockpit window, you may have a look here

Thanks Alex. I'll take your advice on the vintage flyer decals!

Hi Einar

Another beautiful model, thanks for sharing.

There is a tendency to assume that anything from Authentic Airliners is accurate but that's not always the case. I put an AA windscreen on a DC-8 a year or so ago and I've been convinced it's wrong ever since so I understand the problem. I'll be interested to know what you decide to do.

Thanks Dave,

I have the same experience about AA kits. They are excellent but not always flawless. I will have to order me another windscreen decal from the aftermarket and try to fit it to the cockpit area. Invitably the red and black areas will need to be adjusted, as well.

A real beauty of an airliner! The windscreen looks undersized from some angles, and perfect good from others. Isn't it just typical that we only notice these things after everything is complete. If I had a pound for every error noticed by taking pictures.......

Cheers
