There was actually a book published a long time ago in which the author listed(in various chapters IIRC)lyrics such as these. I don't remember the title or author unfortunately.

Abba and 'Chicken Tikka'

Talking of Abba, Super Trouper has two mondegreens:

"Dum de dum de dum de dum de dum,

When I called you last night from Tesco ..."

And in the chorus:

"...somewhere in the crowd there's Sue."

I'm also old enough to remember Dusty Springfield - "You don't have to say you love me, just because you can..." and that well known Hollies hit "Bus stop Wendy ..."

Listening to Saturday morning Radio 4 whilst driving I thought I heard the announcer say the next programme was being bresented by the Rev. Richard Coles and Asmodeus.  'Good Lord,' I thought, 'the BBC has raised a demon, is there going to be a debate between good and evil?'  Sadly, no, Asmodeus turned out to be Aasmah Mir.  Disappointing, really.

Hendrix' " 'Scuse me while I kiss this guy";

Listening to some Stones recently - specifically Paint it Black - I was reminded of another one:  "No more will my green seagull turn a deeper blue ..."
