Brewer Posted June 16, 2021 Posted June 16, 2021 (edited) Another one I recently wrapped up. The antenna were made from scratch because the only aftermarket options were 2D photoetch, unacceptable. 72modeler Posted June 16, 2021 Posted June 16, 2021 Wow! First one of this variant I have seen built, and I think you have set the standard for it! Nice touches all around that show your attention to detail- the sooty exhaust, red-painted trim tabs and step, and the fuel stains on the drop tank. That's one nasty Wurger! 👌 Mike My favorite Fw-190 NF is the A-6/R11 or A-8/R11 with the J3 Neptune 'antler' antennas. 1
Gary Brantley Posted June 16, 2021 Posted June 16, 2021 Whoo Whee! 🤩 That is one incredible model Brewer! Fantastic result on this one...man, it's just so sharply made and finished! Wow indeed.
Barbouille Posted June 17, 2021 Posted June 17, 2021 Wow Wow wow !!! Stunning work and beautiful finisch congratulations
hopkp Posted June 19, 2021 Posted June 19, 2021 That's a really nice-looking model. Is it the more recent 'retooled' Eduard Fw 190 kit or the older one released a few years ago?
Tbolt Posted June 19, 2021 Posted June 19, 2021 That’s really nice. Love the weathering and the antennas. I bet you had to be careful handling that one near the end with all that lot?

Actually, everything else on this model will break before the antennae do - but yes still handle with care so I don't get stabbed! Haha 1 1
Sky Keg Posted June 20, 2021 Posted June 20, 2021 Just superb!!!!! The complex camouflage pattern is perfect. What a beautiful model of the Fw-190. Mike
ScaleModelHobbyist Posted June 27, 2021 Posted June 27, 2021 An excellent model, finished beautifully. I really enjoyed seeing your workmanship. Thank you for taking the time and making the effort to share it with us.
Taylor Durbon Posted June 29, 2021 Posted June 29, 2021 What a clean, crisp build . And Boy, what a finish! And all presented in such brilliant pics. Well done and thanks vor sharing.
Natter Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 A lovely model, your painting skills make me jealous. Looking at all those antennas I do wonder just what sort of RF radiation the pilot was exposed to.
Retired Bob Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 A superb "Butcher Bird" just stunning paintwork and finish.
Mukund SB Posted December 25, 2022 Posted December 25, 2022 Just came across this thread.... Was searching FW-190 since the group build is starting next month..... I am new to Aircrafts and learning on the go.... Stunning finish.... The rigging is top class. Thanks for sharing.
Brewer Posted December 25, 2022 Author Posted December 25, 2022 Nice to see this thread brought back to the top after a year and a half, thanks folks! I need to post some of my recent work
Giampiero Piva Posted December 26, 2022 Posted December 26, 2022 Very, VERY nice, Bravo ! Here the small brother (Eduard 1/72) 1
georgeusa Posted December 26, 2022 Posted December 26, 2022 I do not think I have ever seen this spikey, I guess nightfighter, version of the 190. Now I just recently looked an a 109 with a similar set up on another post to this forum. Both birds have been so well build and painted. I really like your faded mottling and restrained weathering done on this kit. Thanks for sharing.
