Paint Match for Mr Hobby - RAL colors

Hello Folks I am planning to build a McDonnell Douglas F-4F Phantom II, and these are the shades i will require to build it.  I am keen to use Mr.Hobby aqueous paints. I will appreciate if someone can help me match these to Mr.Hobby paints shades

Not sure all these exist in gunze.. . Revell has a huge amount of ral matches, but not sure I can give a list right now.

It sure is a list of shades of grey...

Thanks Steben. I will check out Revell, Hataka has a boxset for this specific aircraft.

Those might be good as they are made to match relatively. Though hataka is not 100% on all colours they make.

7037 and 7039 have no match, yet the others are mixed acoording to RAL standard.

Have you had a look on Mig AMMO they have some useful free conversion charts?

@ride to live, this is probably not what you wanted as such, but the instructions from Hasegawa's 1983 1/48 scale F-4F boxing (that features two schemes) gives the following Gunze references;

 

RAL7009 Green Grey: H4 (35%), H1 (30%), H2 (30%), H7 (5%)

RAL7012 Basalt Grey: H1 (63%), H2 (27%), H4 (6%), H7 4%

RAL7030 Stone Grey: H325 = H51

RAL7035 Light Grey: H1 (98%), H2 (1.5%), H4 (0.5%)

RAL7037 Dust Grey: H306 = H1 (50%), H2 (30%), H5 (10%), H43 (10%)

RAL7039 Quartz Grey: H1 (33%), H2 (29%), H4 (23%), H7 15%

RAL6014 Yellow Olive: H304 = H52

 

And all of those with a dash of H40 Flat base.

 

7001 Silver Grey doesn't feature for some reason.

 

So unless you're a highly skilled chemist, if I were you I'd go with the Hataka paints.

One look and already turning away  . RAL6014 is definitely not H304, which on itself is not H52. H78 is much closer but a bit too brown.
Mind you, H304 is a great flat ww2 US OD on small scale.

@Steben, not sure if Hasegawa made that very clear, but Hx = Hx I think means a 50/50 mix of the two colours.

 

So RAL7037 is a mix of 50% H306 and 50% of four other colours combined. Complicated and wether they make good matches or not (I’ve no idea) I’d be inclined to use Hakata just for the easy life!
