Pin
I have found out that .... after certain events we all know about .... I cannot find supplies in the places I used to buy them from any more. My local HobbyCraft no longer stocks Humbrol and Tamiya, the only (!) putty available was Revell and I found it ... well .... useless, all UK suppliers known to me no longer have Mr. Dissolved Putty in stock, many continental shops simply don't sent to UK and those who do cannot give me guarantees that I will not have to pay "handling fee" that annoys me far more than VAT and custom fees. Do you know any supplies within UK who would sell Mr. Surfacer of various finesse and Mr. Dissolved Putty?
sinnerboy
Make your own. Squadron putty thinned to your pleasure with cellulose, my filler of choice now. NB. Be aware that cellulose does melt styrene.

Be aware that cellulose does melt styrene. This is not what I am asking. I was born and raised in Soviet Union where there was no such thing as "modelling paint", I was good at Chemistry at school and I can make my own paints, glues, putties, thinners; I can make all kinds of replacements and surrogates but I want to save my time and buy ready stuff, something that I would do just half a year ago and cannot now. lasermonkey
Try air-craft.net. I’ve found them very good for Gunze stuff.

alt-92
Another UK source: https://www.pmmodelsuk.com/primers-vanishes That said: Mr.Hobby products are import products everywhere so availability these days is just a 'thing' we'll have to deal with.
tank152
As an alternative to Mr Dissolved Putty I can recommend this. https://www.premiumhobbies.co.uk/fillers/mrp-f-mr-filler It's MRP's equivalent. A couple more dealers who stock Mr Surfacer also my go to primers MRP https://www.hmhobbies.co.uk/primers-and-varnishes.html https://www.premiumhobbies.co.uk/primers I can recommend both of those dealers, both give excellent service.
Duncan B
The sole UK Importer of Mr Hobby has been struggling to keep up with demand lately more than likely due to the well documented issues with global shipping at the moment. I know that they tend to sell out very quickly so it's pot luck if your local Hobby Shop is able to get a restock or not depending on when they try to order. Julien
The range at Hobbycraft is disappointing these days. The Revell sales reps must have made them a better offer than the Airfix ones for them to change sides, it seems its one or the other with the big stores not both.
