mbdesignart
WIP here Heller 1/24 Citroen H Van 'Tube', Rust-o-mod. Not the finish I had in mind as I got a bit carried away and the decal distressing method didn't work as planned, but hey ho. Next up in my, purely accidental, alcohol themed builds is a Belgian Pilsner liveried Renault Estafette when Heller finally release it. Motobitz wheels, bomber seats and decals, vallejo acrylics and artist's oil paints. Edited June 16, 2021 by mbdesignart extra info
Marco F.
What a cool rustOmod😎 Perfect for the express delivery of cold drinks. Super stance with nice wheels and a great looking weathering, or shall I say evidence of lack of TLC 😇🤗. Did the owner installed the bomber seats a couple of days before? They look so new and unused Marco F
Red316
Love it, The Bacardi and Coke will certainly be shaken not stirred with those rims and tyres on an H. 1
Escaflowne
Hello, Fun work and well done on this Tub. I love rust paint work and the look is very surprising with this rims but the result is original. For the bomber's seat have you build them yourself please ? Cheers Edited June 14, 2021 by Escaflowne
bigbadbadge
This looks absolutely wicked, what a cracking model, I love your paint effects and your rust effects too, the underside looked great too. Aircraft seats are a great addition, used to see some of those in some VWs at some shows and the Mags and do look the business. Great job Chris

Spiny
Not an idea I would have thought of myself, but the execution is to a very high standard. I know you said the decals didn't work out as planned, but they look about right to me for this look.

PhilX
Very fond of the rusty body, but would have preferred stock wheels and seats ...

kapam
I love it! I actually don't think the finish is overdone at all. It has a kind of "rat rod" authenticity about it.
