Devo
G'day All, I just finished my first ship! Tamiya's 1/350 Musashi. Built mostly OOB. I did use photoetch on the aircraft catapult's and the aircraft propellers. Bit of rigging done with elastic thread. All brush painted with Tamiya acrylic's (that's a first for me, I'm an enamel man.) Cheers, Devo 26

Bitzer
Good job on the rarely modeled more powerful sis of the Yamato. I prefer the Musashi of the two. Nice paint job as well mate.

Yes she is big...…I haven't figured out where she will live yet....definitely not in the kitchen though...….COMAUSHOMFRNT has made that clear! 16 hours ago, Bitzer said: Good job on the rarely modeled more powerful sis of the Yamato. Nick C
Great job, especially brush painted with tamiya acrylics, I’ve always had a nightmare with those. Cheers Nick

Cheers Nick Thanks Nick. I too had a hard time previously brush painting with Tamiya acrylics.........until I found out about Tamiya acrylic paint retarder. That stuff was the ingredient that made it paint brush friendly. Highly recommended!! Edited July 1, 2021 by Devo

For my 2nd build I have the Trumpeter 1/350 WW2 HMS KENT on the bench. No camo though, she will wear straight 507c. I hope I don't wreck the photo etch bits.
