I say give in to your impulses. Unfortunately, it will be a few more years before I even start writing the Lend-lease book. I tend to think of the P-39 as more of a Soviet aircraft, anyway. It's almost as if it were designed with the VVS in mind - good low-altitude performance, able to take off from poor airfields, and with all the heavy armament in the nose. From where I'm typing this in, I can see my P-39 model, resplendent in its red stars. I have another that's painted, but just needs decalling, so that's obviously far too complete for this GB.
