Jeep and 'Stg44'

We shoot firearms every Sunday at our local gun club, and last Sunday's meeting was on 6th June, obviously the Anniversary of D-Day, 'Operation Overlord'. In remembrance of this date, one of our gun club members drove to the meeting in his superb, restored, fully functioning, road-legal Jeep, and was a pleasure to see him arrive at the meeting in it! Probably turned a few heads when he was out on the public roads, driving to the club.

 

Somebody suggested putting the 'Stg44' with the Jeep, for a couple of pics, just for effect. One pic leaning against the front bumper, and another placed on the drivers seat. Naturally not a real 'Stg44' of course, it is a replica, although it is a fully licenced, legal, semi-automatic functioning firearm, chambered in 22LR calibre.
