GrahamB
Hi, I'm just dealing with my first wooden deck (supplied with the kit) for the AJM 1/350 HMS Queen of Thanet. It is a lovely item and a pleasant-soothing job gently trimming down various edges on the kit's resin to get it to settle completely flush (although I'm also going to apply Jim Baumann's technique for introducing deck camber). My question is - what is the best glue for applying it to the resin? Using a water-based white PVA glue could lead to swelling/distortion I'm thinking. Also, it would be best to give the top surface a coating of matt varnish to protect it against stains and mishaps? Any help gratefully received. Cheers, GrahamB

GrahamB
Thanks. I'll try it out on some scrap first to get an idea of how much to use etc. Cheers, GrahamB
