Popular Post tonyot
Hiy Folks, Well it was eagerly awaited but worth the wait,..... the Arma Wildcat Mk.VI (FM-2) is a lovely little kit and really looks the part,..... I believe they also have an F4F-4 on the way,..... hopefully they will follow with some earlier variants too including the Martlet Mk.I. I built mine in the colours of 846 NAS, aboard HMS Trumpeter and shore based at Machrihannish, with the previous markings of 881 NAS painted over following a landing accident aboard HMS Pursuer. The model was brush painted; Cheers Tony

Grey Beema
Lovely job Tony, really looks the part. I recently procured the 1/48 Hobby Boss FM1 to complete as a 882 NAS Martlet V serving on Searcher May ‘44, by the time I get round to it I should be retired.... 1
JWM
Really lovely! The Wildcat/Martlet has for me some kind of a nice appearance (a bit crunchy like a pupy) whereas the Hellcat is certainly grown up... Regards J-W

Regards J-W Thanks J-W,... yes I know exactly what you mean,... especially this later variant with the big engine and light airframe. 22 minutes ago, ForestFan said: Nice job on what looks like a lovely kit. Thanks mate,... yes it is a lovely kit although the undercarriage is as fiddly as hell, the instructions don`t help as they appear to be wrong too! 4 minutes ago, steh2o said: It's beautiful Tony! 72modeler
OK, that's it- I'm taking up macrame! Fer cryin' out loud, Tony, that is an awesome Mk VI! Perfect colors and the overpainted codes are perfectly portrayed. Could easily pass for a 1/48 or even 1/32 model. The only complaint I have is that it's not sitting in my display case! Ad-4N
This is hilarious. Modelers say “Oh, it’s brush painted.” Come on man, no human can brush paint that smoothly. Just tell us use an Iwata! 😃
