Nice going Davey, that’s looking great.
Cheers.. Dave

Thanks Dave.  I've noticed in the photo of the underside I've left some masking tape over the exhaust I pre-painted!

Not long before finishing, just getting side-tracked by doing some wargame figure painting.

Guilty as charged Davey .... thanks to the new Airfix Vulcan and a Shorts Skyvan for the up and coming High Wings GB.

My Blenheim is still chugging along, so an update will be made shortly.

Cheers.. Dave

Looks super so far. Those aftermarket decal sheets are sooo tempting…

You know you want to. 😁

I thought I wouldn't be someone who purchases aftermarket decal sheets that much but now I have a file with a few in!

Strangely enough, I seem to have picked up X72202 quite recently!

Here we are finished, a pleasant build, didn't get the engine cowlings quite right this time compared to the last one I did, although I did remove the protrusions on the front of the exhaust collector ring with this one!  The nacelles still annoy me but I wouldn't like to attempt the major surgery to fix them!

I still couldn't bring myself to file off and polish the bit of frame across the middle of the sliding cockpit hatch, maybe will do it on the Mk.IV's I have.

I tried a bit of a wash with MIG ammo 'Dust' to dull down the finish a bit and create a weathered appearance.

Thanks for all the comments  along the way, I'll see you in my Beaufighter thread, hopefully will be as stress free as this one.

Davey.
