I've noticed in the photo of the underside I've left some masking tape over the exhaust I pre-painted! Not long before finishing, just getting side-tracked by doing some wargame figure painting. My Blenheim is still chugging along, so an update will be made shortly. Cheers.. Dave
AdrianMF
Looks super so far. Those aftermarket decal sheets are sooo tempting… Regards, Adrian

IanC
You've nailed this one already. My attempt at the kit almost ended up in the bin. 😟

DaveyGair
Here we are finished, a pleasant build, didn't get the engine cowlings quite right this time compared to the last one I did, although I did remove the protrusions on the front of the exhaust collector ring with this one! The nacelles still annoy me but I wouldn't like to attempt the major surgery to fix them! I still couldn't bring myself to file off and polish the bit of frame across the middle of the sliding cockpit hatch, maybe will do it on the Mk.IV's I have. I tried a bit of a wash with MIG ammo 'Dust' to dull down the finish a bit and create a weathered appearance. Thanks for all the comments along the way, I'll see you in my Beaufighter thread, hopefully will be as stress free as this one. Davey.
Greg Law
Beautiful build Davey. I have used that Vallejo blue. It is quite fragile. Still I will be using it again on my Malta Beaufighter.
