ZSU-23-4M SHILKA

Recommended Posts

Hi folks

May I present my latest and only build so far this year.

Italeri ZSU  23 4M Shilka

The kit was purchased for a tenner at a show(remember these) Eduard etch and metal barrels have been added

Painted in an Iraqi scheme.

Taken me about 9 months to complete basically due to apathy and loss of MOJO.

Hi Keith,

interesting subject, I did not know that Italeri had one of these, I myself have one in the stash but from MENG ... waiting for the mojo ... which has not just arrived ... only models already finished a while ago ..
And the thing is that the Shilka is a somewhat strange vehicle, almost a tank, but with a not so pretty design ...
As the mates say, I hope the mojo recovers, we are not always inspired, and the result can vary a lot depending on the model chosen to make ...
Cheers and TC
Francis.👍

Great work Keith, the weathering sets off the vehicle very nicely.

I plan to do the Zvezda one in Indian colours later

Excellent work indeed on one of my favourite AFVs! Say, if you found your mojo, could you ask it if it's seen mine about? It's been gone for some time...

Regards,

I think the MOJO is definitely on the way back with this one.

I just wish you would do some of your stuff in the WIP to show how much detail is added looks brilliant mate cant wait to see this on the club tables.
