Model Victoria's beautiful resin Fiat 626.  Finished as a Normandy veteran,  inspired by a photograph of one sat in a dump behind some Pz IV's, on one of the first few pages in the excellent Panzerwrecks Normandy 2 publication.  There are also a few 626's right at the back of the image on the fold out rear sleeve in the same book. The cab roof 'dalek' side lights and 'suicide' type doors are a dead giveaway

I built this a number of years ago but have been playing about with backdrop photos

Ooh I like this. Rust is first class and your tyres! That colour is perfect. That brown tint works really well. That's something I've been thinking a lot about recently and notices on real lorries.

That's a fantastic build and finish! :worthy:

And the photography is excellent too! Convert one of those to gray scale and you could claim it's a contemporaneous photo!

That is very impressive! The model alone is a gem but with the backdrop and photo perspective it looks realer than real.

How nice is to see another softskeen, rather than Pzkpf x.

And some of those photos can be easily mistaken for "colorized" originals 😀

Great modelling

Thanks Zig.  I am more of a builder of softskins and semi tracked AFV's than tanks

Really good result. I like the use of photo backdrop and landscaped baseboard very much.

Fantastic job. Have you photoshopped the background?

Thanks NIK122.  Yes, the photo was printed onto an A4 sheet of paper and placed behind the vehicle.  I have recently posted in the Photograph section of the forum about my photo backdrops
