rob85
A few pictures from a visit to Wings museum near Crawley, it’s a surprising little place full of very interesting aircraft and aircraft parts. A Russian havoc, and p-63, a Dak used for the filming of band of brother, the parts from a p-38 f4 I think? The photo recon version, which have surprisingly blue original paint on… and the below. Both are Australia examples but thought they might be of interest. aussie Beaufort nose, unsure of the mark but looks like the nose similar to an RAF MKII? the old original paint? aussie beaufighter nose section And collector ring evidently the beau has been restored so not the original look I imagine.
