Yes, I made the leather padding with Tamiya epoxy putty: 2

Lozenge decals are from Aviattic, while the figure comes from the Copper State range. Wood panels were painted with oils over an acrylic base. Absolutely awesome work! Museum quality! I airbrushed the fuselage with three light sand shades, using Tamiya paint: I made a mixture with Burnt Umber, Burnt Sienna and Titanium White and smeared it on the fuselage, working on a panel at a time, in order to have a different wood grain on each panel: The oil color was cleaned with an old brush, until I got a decent grain, then everything was left to dry for at least one day and protected with a layer of Future: 1

Holzhamer
Your method for achieving the nails heads is simply awesome. I don’t think I could get such tiny holes done in a strip of evergreen plastic like you made. Your Albatros is benchmark stuff, I’ll be using your epoxy idea for the padding

cduckworth
Beautiful work! The only observation I might point out is the band on the cap should be black for the mechanic. The piping is correct being red.
