GiampieroSilvestri
This is the Trumpeter 1/48 scale Mig-3 late series converted into a Mig-9 with Shvetsov ASh-82 engine using the nose of a Zvezda Lavochkin La-5. Saluti Giampiero
Harold55
I really like this! Wonderful finish and a great kit bashing to come up with the Mig-9. This deserves more pictures please.
Graham Boak
You might like to see the recent Warpaint on the MiG.3, which offers two pages and five photos of the I-210 and I-211 Mig.9. Your conversion is much closer to the I-210, which did see lmited service in 1942 and 1943/44. The I-211 is a bit more like an La.7 with its refined cowling. Another option for the eager converter? Сергей Никитин
Hi! I liked the idea, but it's not a mig-9, unfortunately. Below are a few photos( all that I found) and a couple of drawings of the I-210 (aka Mig-9) Maybe this will help in the future.
