Alan, that is one amazing model. You have captured the look and poise of the aircraft very effectively.

Hopefully we will be able to see this for real.

Robert

Thanks Robert, unfortunately it'll be in one of the program offices at my work so no shows for this one 😔

Thanks Tony, yes Leeming gone the way of so many great bases 😔 you might be interested in a 1/32 Beaufighter I started in the same build thread, it's almost finished and will be in RFI soon!

Thanks again, Alan

Absolutely fabulous build - well done!  I’m very happy though that there weren’t a couple of EF3 squadrons - it would have put me out of a job!  The integration of the ALARM on the GR1/4 was actually pretty good which is probably why the idea was shelved.

I too love your model with its beautiful photoshopped background!

Hey, Tim! Thanks very much, this is particularly good to hear from you. I was hoping you might pop up during the build, but I'm really glad you like the finished product 👍

Wow, I think you can be rightfully proud of that! Must be one of the best F-3's I've ever seen built as a model. Fantastic job!

Martin

That's very high praise and much appreciated Martin 😁👍

Wow!! What a magnificent beast!

I'm mainly WW2 with the odd Cold War Soviet jet, this looks superb, but I'll stick to sometime building the 1/72nd Revell Gr.1 I have (just because I have 617 Sqn .decals for it!).

Great work, especially with the resin parts.

:goodjob:

Thanks very much, Davey. I'm sure you'll enjoy the 1/72 Revell, it's the best available in that scale (Hasegawa is running a very close second but dated now)

Thanks again both,

Alan

Stunning build made to look even better with a stunning pose.

Fantastic

Thanks very much for that 👍 a rare case of the result actually looking like the original idea!

A stunner. The icing on the cake for me is the tilt you have added to the pilots head. It adds so much to the overall finish.

Very kind of you to mention that, it looked more dynamic than him just staring through the HUD, so I'm glad you noticed!

Looks fantastic Alan,..... like you say, a very interesting version and role to boot,....... shame they did`t last long.

Now that the USA has proved itself under the present leadership to be rather unreliable towards its old Allies,..... maybe the RAF should stop relying on them for specialist roles like this and start to reconvert some of the earlier two seat Typhoons as Growlers?

Cheers

Wow, what a super build Alan, missed it first time around, my scale filter must have been set on high. ;) :D I've one of these to do in my favoured 1/72, hopefully it'll  look just like that, just not so grown up. :)

Steve.
