Hi guys.

Its madness but I thought I'd try this tamiya kit.

Had it in the stash for a while and thought I'd try it.

1145 start time.

Doh, quite a lot of interior detail that I didnt know about.

But I've started now.

Its rude not to paint something you have made, so by 1400 I had this and by 1600 this:

Still got more paint to splash around and a bit of weathering of the internals, but getting there.

Kit comes with a couple of figures and rail tracks. I'm not attempting the figures, but will try to knock something up with the tracks.

More later

Hi Guys.

Was going to post last night, but camera batt's died, and had no replacements. Sorted out this morning, so here's the progress from last night.

Body work is installed and started a bit of weathering, although it will all be hidden.

Good thing about building armour is that while paints drying, you can build another part.

Turret is complete, minor filling required and some paint.

Well I thought I'd better do something to the Tracks, so this is the base.

As the model has markings for Eastern front, 1943. I'm going to do the wintery effects over yellow base colour.

BTW, this is a lovely kit, for those that are interested. Good Fit and detail, and could be really nice opened up (Time allowing)

So this is the first 8 Hours work, and be about the same today

Happy Building

Hi Guys.

Progressed the build for 5 Hours today.

Basic assembly is complete, and base colour applied.

Couple of touch-ups and detail painting to do, and of course, the aerial assembly.

Then it's on to decals and white wash, and final weathering.

How it stands at the present time:

First time I've ever seen this kit, and as you say both very detailed and unusual what's not to like !

What you have achieved so far is amazing especially in a Blitzbuild.

Cheers Pat

Thanks for everybodies kind comments.

Kit is very good, I can see a few issues, but all of my own making.

A few of the panels are miss-aligned due to rushing. But everything came off the sprue easily and There are some lovely rivet details.

May even buy another one and take more time over it.

Anyway, cant chat, as I have a Kit to Finish 😃

Hi Guys, Hope everyone's doing well, on this fine day.

3 More Hours work this morning

Bit of fiddling with the base, but nothing much.

Aerial Installed. Kit does not provide a cable to run from aerial to inside, so a quick raid of the spares box and artistic licence,

First stage of weathering and white wash done, but more to go.

And I better polish up the Rims for that extra Bling

Cheers for looking

Hi Guys.

Well I'm just tinkering ATM.

I May do more, but going to call her complete. Especially as I have to cook a BBQ for SWMBO and her friends

Thanks to the organisers and Hosts, and Looking forward to the next one if I'm not still in Australia working, although I may decide on a slightly smaller project.
