Special Hobby Finnish Fokker

Recommended Posts

After the very nice DXXI from Holland, here is the Mercury version of the little Fokker, with Finnish Air Force modifications. FR112 fought during the Winter War being delivered to 1/LLv24 on the 30.11.39, but crashed on the 18.11.40 while with LLv32. She wears the overall green of the early Fokkers before the appliance of black stripes. This model was done some years ago! Thanks for looking.

Impressive work on your part!  This is really handsome, and everything about it seems spot-on with the real aircraft.  May I ask how you created the insulator "balls" on the antenna wires?  Alex

Sure! Just use Elmer's white glue with a toothpick, let it dry and paint. Very simple and efficient.

Just ordered one. 😀

Enjoy your built and do not hesitate to get the SBS set for that plane. I did not exist when I built mine, but it will make a difference!

Outstanding Jean.  Not only do I like the way your D.XXI turned out, but the uniqueness of the subject adds to the interest.  Well done!!!!! :goodjob:
