dragan_mig31
Hello guys. This one I built OOB for a customer of mine. The fit is not the best but not the worst I have seen. The plastic is a bit soft but it is easy to sand. The panels are pretty shallow and wide but with a light pass of the rescribing tool can be made much deeper and able to hold a wash.I painted it in ak interactive colors and the clear varnishes are from vallejo. Enjoy the photos .
Deano353
Very nice model.of possibly the ugliest modern fighter design I've seen lol. Never seen a model of this aircraft though. Edited May 28, 2021 by Deano353 Spelling mistake
FatFlyHalf
I concur with Deano353. It is a great model of an UGLY aircraft. What goes on in the wind tunnel should stay in the wind tunnel. 1
Toryu
Great model, but that 'silly grin' would have embarrassed every fighter pilot! Not for the first time in military aviation though...
Electric Indigo
Impressive result from a kit that made the X-32 look even more awkward than the real thing. I love the subtle surface weathering. I think the front landing gear door was supposed to close again before touchdown, though.
Max Headroom
I wonder how much less ugly a production F-32 would have looked. Beautifully made and finished model.
Bejay53
Reminds me of one of those large basking sharks. They swim around with their mouth open wide while it filters for shrimp and what not. 1

Plasticbasher
Imagine that with a shark mouth! It is a beautiful model of an hideous looking aircraft.

theplasticsurgeon
Nicely done, thanks for posting. Good to see it builds so well - I've got the Revell copy in my stash.
Thom216
Nice paint/weathering! And though I agree about the fugly-ness, that Whif of an in service -32 actually looks pretty good. Though, I can imagine pilots calling it the Screaming Chicken!

Deano353
I don't know if this is true but I recall my dad telling me he said the test pilot who was flying this and the F-35 while the two were in competition for the next generation aircraft that when asked which he thought was a better aircraft the guy said the F-35 and asked why he apparently replied "because it looks better!"
