There is also a former air base some 12 kilometers away from that point; now clearly a solar power plant. Does anyone know more about an F-4 Phantom on an East German airport? It was photographed by a RAF Chipmunk crew on a local recce flight. The Phantom was seen only once. The recce photo was published in book "Looking down the corridors" (highly recommended for all those interested in Cold War aviation in Germany).
