The Last- Buchon conversion

Recommended Posts

So the second of my bookends a G series converted to a Buchon the last 109 variant to be manufactured as late as 1954.

Ooo looks interesting. It would be nice if more Buchons wore their actual colours (other than the ones that have been modified to look like 109s)

Seems like a nice enough kit nicely tooled  but a lot of flash so the molds have seen a lot of action. But the decal sheets are a bonus particularly the Hungarian national markings which will save me a bit of masking for the G6 I’m doing for the GB.

Trimmed and fitted the molding. I went with the 1mm one as it gives me a bit more margin for sanding. Next to blend it in with filler.

I’m not sure wether I’ll mold or milliput the exhaust headers, probably mold.
