Not much to say here, this is one of two entries for the GB. I have several of these in the stash, and it's about time I built one.

The Israeli aircraft has the distinctive 3-colour Israeli camouflage. I don't believe I've ever done this scheme before*, so time to remedy that.

*Although I also have an F-16 waiting to be completed in the same basic scheme.

Welcome to the GB and good luck with your build.

The Texan/Harvard wore many different colour schemes, an Israeli one should be an interesting addition to the GB.

Ok ... time for one of my increasingly irregular updates.

Initial progress was extremely good, with excellent fit in almost every respect. So much so that the cockpit and airframe more or less fell together:

The only area requiring any remedial work was the join on each side between the fuselage and wing, where the main wheel would retract to. Here are these after correction:

With the engine and canopy attached. Interestingly, the aircraft depicted on the front page of the instructions has the earlier style more heavily framed canopy. As far as I am aware, the supplied canopy (as shown on the box art) is correct for the "G".

I will now leave this to one side for a week while I finish my Skyhawks.
