Wafu
One for all the Harrier buffs out there. Can anyone tell me what the pod, carried under the second from the wingtip pylon, is? And more importantly, does anyone do this in 1/48? I can’t see that the T12 carried much in the way of dangly bits, so I wanted to fill as much as possible on my T12. Thanks in advance, especially to Nick who will set me right I’m sure😉 Cheers The Woo.

Quote but a good starting point for a baggage pod.

Shaun
Its the RAF baggage pod, was used on Harriers and Tornado. Common sight on the airshow birds or aircraft deploying, to carry extra goodies..
NG899
You've beaten me to it folks, it's a baggage pod. They began to be used by 1st generation RAF/FAA Harriers and SHARs when the bay behind the airbrake bay where the pilot's had previously stowed their jim-jams and toothbrush got filled up with ALE-40s. Shaun didn't you once make a resin example? (Says he donning tin hat and diving under desk!) Cheers Nick
