Milczacy
My latest finished build. Roden's Globemaster II "Old Shaky". To be honest - it was my first 'short run', and I'm not very satisfied with end result. But I'm glad it is finished and now have time for something new 😉 I added to less weight in nose section, and model is tending to be "tail sitter", so I had to add the tail support, which I have seen on real photos, so it is not pure sci-fi 🤣 Now I've got two Globemaster's in collection: C-124 and C-17. Please feel free to provide constructive criticism 👍

The red line on fuselage should be, where the pink line is. But the the "U.S. AIR FORCE" decal would be then too far in front. 2. Left landing gear and the right bay door is the place, I screwed up Anyway - in general I like this vintage Old Shaky 😁 Thank You fellows for all kind comments 🍻

Ghostbase
Good to see a completed C-124 "Old Shaky", another classic USAF plane which I was too young to ever see in flight. Nice build and finish as well. Did you use the Caracal decals sheet for the markings? Michael

72modeler
Without a doubt, this is the best build of Ole Shaky I have seen, in any scale! An ugly beast, to be sure, but gave sterling service for so many years. I remember seeing the early versions without the nose radome when we were stationed at Itazuke AB, Japan, in the mid-50's. As an eight year-old, I was intrigued by that powered lift that came down from the rear fuselage for loading pallets of cargo. I love your choice of scheme and markings, too! Kursad really outdid himself with the decal sheet, as well. Mike

woody37
Lovely build, despite the minor issues you mention, it's a great build and I would be over the moon with the finish you've achieved
Mig88
Despite the flaws you pointed out (which I wouldn't have noticed 😉) it looks great to me. Well done! Miguel

Look at the linked photos and where the red warning stripe is in relation to the two cabin windows. Might there be a problem with the fuselage length forward of the wings?
