1/48 A-10C Warthog by Italeri

Here is an illustration of the Italeri 1/48 scale model presented this week at the Shizuoka Hobby Show 2021 in Japan.

Is this a brand new kit ? (new molds?) Or a reissue?

Odd - @Stephen and @Simon can you start up a thread in Help & Support about this, and give me as much info as you can please?  If you can supply me with details of your notifications set-up too, that would be helpful.  I have a feeling that it might have been due to a stutter in posting, or some other transitory issue.

 

On the subject of the Italeri A-10, it's not bad, but the wheel sponsons are a bit chubby and I eventually moved mine on.  For buildability I like the Hobby Boss kit, but shapewise, the old Revell/Monogram kit is meant to be pretty good, but it takes some effort to knock it into the modern ball-park.  There's no such thing as the perfect kit
