Airfix Panther tank corrections

Hi everyone, I discovered a couple of old Airfix 1/76 scale Panther tanks in my stash, which I know are not everyone's favorite tank model, so any additions will need to be scratch-built. I'm fine with the turret alterations, some exhaust changes and the storage bins. My main problem is the rear end of the hull. The rear section just above the tracks, the kit shape looks very wrong, so can anyone help me build up the new shape or give me a link where this section is dealt with, please.

Build a dug in pill box. You can hide much of the hull and don't need those horrible tracks.

What a great thread, I built the airfix panther as my first model on my return to the hobby last year, it almost put me off continuing but that thread is inspiring, maybe one day I will revisit the model.

Thanks a million just what I was looking for. My insulin is your insulin, take care and please don't end up with severe kidney failure as well, not nice at all, believe me.
