Major visual differences between a Jet provost T.4 and T.5

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone… Im trying to collect info on the BAC Strikemaster. Now from what I’ve read is the T.5 airframe modified to carry four weapons pylons and two 7.62 guns ? Not sure if all Strikemaster’s had the internal guns, and if so where they're located. Back to my posted question, can the Airfix Jet Provost T.4 be modified to a T.5 or Strikemaster ? The old tool strikemaster is as rare as 🦄💩 and there are no swap meets before 2022 locally to even try to look for one ? I can however get the Jet provost kits fairly easily ?

Absolutely not; the most significant difference between a JP3/4 and a JP5 (and hence Strikemaster) is the entire nose, because both the JP5 and Strikemaster had a pressurised cabin, and the canopy was totally redesigned to allow this. More explanation with photos at Jet Provost .
