Had a wee break from the bench , as I was waiting to get to town to buy some pink paint.  As it was mentioned in @Hewy thread, I thought I’d give it a go. I have to say I’m sold.

Looks good, can't wait to see it with the tracks on 🤪

Got a bit of time at the bench today, though I’d try a bit of free hand camouflage. Nearly done.

Looking nice Ozzy. Good job on that yellow. We all know how much a pain that colour is to cover.

Thanks guys,

it wasnt the most highly detailed kit, but a bit of fun and a testbed for some yellow painting.

ive popped the decals on the other day, unfortunately the yellow P doesn’t show up very well. I will get some pictures up before Friday.

Really nice job there Ozzy. I've seen plenty of Spits but not a floatplane version. Regardless of the age of the kit you've put together an interesting and unique subject and a good job to boot.

Thanks mate,

It’s certainly something different on the shelf, it was a good kit to practice yellow painting.

Not your regular Spit, but great modelling as usual.

Thanks Dave,

when I saw it in the window and under a tenner, I thought that’s the one for this build.

That has come up far better than the kit deserved, well done on that. 👍

Steve.

Thanks Steve,

its turned out really well, a bit of filler but nothing I wouldn’t expect.
