replicant
Had some health issues slowing me down but starting again, i completed this build in 1979, so this models paint is 42 years old! Microscale decals, model made in a few weeks, minime was much faster then 🙂 Cheers, Tom

noelh
You obviously worked to a high standard back in '79. I'm pretty sure that I built the same kit around that time frame too. I was 19 back then.  But like the real Intruders it was scrapped long ago. Congratulations to your younger self.
albymoore
She's stood the test of time really well. Everything still looks so crisp and clean. Â Cheers, Albert

72modeler
Tom,  Glad to see you're back, and in fine form! One thing's for sure- the filler should be dry by now!  Your Intruder hasn't aged a bit- 42 years, seriously? I thought I was the only one who gets them started, loses interest, and then puts them away for a long time! BTW, great job on the decal work, and none of the white appears to have yellowed! Mike Thank you Mike! Little Intruder has a dry, warm place behind glass, the microscale decals are doing very very well, i am a big fan since the 70s up to now!  58 minutes ago, Red316 said: Lovely model - enamel paints I guess? Yes of course! Humbrol and Revell enamels. Nitro solvents make addicted... and last a lot longer!!     Cheers all!
