TonyOD
I fancy a go at something without wings or rotors. I acquired some Heller tanks but didn't like the look of the rubber tracks so I sold them on. I remember having fun with a German north Africa half-track when I was a kid (I distinctly recall a little palm tree decal), can anyone point me in the direction of a 1/72 half track kit that would be good for a newcomer to this kind of thing? alex
The new half-tracks from Revell are quite good, they are available on different versions. Try either one of the Sd.Kfz 7 (https://www.scalemates.com/kits/revell-03195-sdkfz-7-1--176250) or one of the Sd.Kfz 251 (https://www.scalemates.com/kits/revell-03173-sdkfz-251-1-ausf-c-wurfrahmen-40--102195) If it's an old one, it could be this:https://www.scalemates.com/kits/revell-03231-sdkfz-251-1--102211 Alex
MikeR
Yep, sounds like the old Matchbox kit. Another option from the Revell ones would be Italeri as they've re-issued some of the old Esci SdKfz 251's. If you want an unarmoured one Revell's the best bet. Mike.
