Red Tail Harrier Gr.3, No 3 Sqn, Kinetic, 1:48

Recommended Posts

After the Harrier T.4 I built the Gr.3 from the Kinetic Gold series in 1:48. Add some Eduard PE´s, Master pitot and a mix of Kinetic and Sky model decals.

Very nice Mathy!

If I may make one suggestion to make it even better...

The intake interior colours should be dark green on the starboard side, dark sea grey on the port side.

A few GR.3s only ever had light coloured intakes when they had left RAF service and were with the Royal Navy's School of Flight Deck Operations at RNAS Culdrose.

Keep up the great work!

A really really great paint job!

Few points; RAF never had Drill Blue Sidewinders  Only practice rounds which should be Light Aircraft Grey with light blue Bands.

The Centreline CBLS apperars to be a CBLS 200 that was only used on Tornado, Harriers used CBLS 100 which was a lot shorter in length.
